The REVERSE XPANDER line closely wraps around the face, its aerodynamism emphasized with frame openings under closely-wrapping lenses and a bio-based* injected frame. The SPIKE line is defined by its bio-based injected serrated frame that creates angular, sculptural spikes along the edges of wrapping lenses. The HOURGLASS line takes its shape from the iconic Hourglass bag, recalling its curves on either side of a bio-based injected frame. A metal BB logo is made into a functional hinge on each temple. The MONO line is inspired by the sleekest high-speed sport sunglasses, wrapping around the eyes with a continuous, superfine edge. The GOTHAM line flares up at the upper tips of its upward-tilting bio-based injected frame, creating a bat-eared shape over goggle-like lenses. The 90s line takes its shape from retro wraparound sunglasses, with extra thin, tapering temples and a slightly angular, bio-based injected frame. The OVERSIZE line is defined by irregularly shaped temples that allow for a wider frame that appears larger than the wearer’s face, made of Eastman Acetate Renew, an acetate alternative partially made of bio-based and recycled content**. The MAX line is characterized by an oversized enamel Balenciaga logo on the left temple, an extension of a thick frame made of Eastman Acetate Renew, an acetate alternative partially made of bio-based and recycled content. The DYNASTY line lets metallic, hollowed-out BB logos take over each temple of a thick, glamorous acetate frame, in reference to an 80s logomania. The PLATE line builds on the anti-theft tag-inspired TAG line, placing a metal Balenciaga logo plate on the front of a wire frame, over the lenses’ top corner or on the temple.
