Celebrity Style: Top 10 Crazy Sunglasses Worn By Celebrities

We all know that celebrities love to express their personality through their clothes, but what do we have to say about their eyewear?

Over the past few of years we have seen more crazy-looking sunglasses than ever before. It seems that the avant-garde style is exactly what Hollywood celebrities are looking for these days.

Below we list the top 10 crazy sunglasses worn by the hottest celebrities on the planet. We've also left our verdict on whether we think they're 'HOT' or 'NOT'.

Top 10 Crazy Sunglasses Worn By Celebrities

1. Shield Sunglasses
We all love shield sunglasses but perhaps these ones worn by Kanye West's ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose is a tad too much. Unless you're aiming for the Tron: Legacy look. As much as we love you Amber, these shades are a no-no.

Our verdict: NOT

2. Cut Out Aviator sunglasses
Speaking of the ex, remember Kanye West in these shades? The craze was brought on in 2009 after Kanye was seen rocking these infamous cut out aviators. They were very trendy and were seen on many other A-list celebrities including Paris Hilton.

Our verdict: HOT

3. Rainbow-Jewelled Aviator Sunglasses
Similar to the style you see above that was worn by Kanye West, Singer Katy Perry donned her own version of the aviator sunglasses. These rainbow coloured aviators are actually stunning. The added 'bling' makes them that extra bit special. We love the retro appeal these sunglasses have.

Our verdict: HOT

4. Fringe Sunglasses
These metal fringe sunglasses were seen on celebrities, in magazines, and even on the high street! Kim Kardashian was also spotted wearing a gold aviator pair. Stylish, fierce, and sexy; fringe sunglasses are great for making a bold statement. Will you dare to wear?

Our verdict: HOT

5. Polaroid Screen Sunglasses
In her music video, "Pokerface" she actually created her own pair of these screen sunglasses by sticking iPod screens together. In 2011, Polaroid and Lady Gaga got together to create a prototype for these screen sunglasses but the deal fell through. Let's be honest, it's not hard to see why.

Our verdict: NOT

6. Futuristic Strip Sunglasses
Miss Paris Hilton shows off her new futuristic look but let's be honest, it's not a great look. It's like cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation have been introduced to Ann Summers bondage wear. Even though the American socialite looks amazing in them, it's not something we think will catch on any time soon.

Our verdict: NOT

7. Lace sunglasses
These lace 'sunglasses' are sensual and sexy, yet dark and mysterious. Rihanna wear it well, combining them with a black lace and leather top. Her nude lips and smoky black kohl eyes compliments the eyewear. However, we're not too sure that you will get much UV protection with these 'sunglasses' but they definitely have sex appeal. Maybe we can get these in aviator styles?

Our verdict: HOT

8. Crystal Faceted Sunglasses
These crystal-faceted sunglasses are quite stunning. We think Snooki from American reality TV show, Jersey Shore has a thing for jewelled eyewear as this is not the first time we've seen her wearing 'bling sunglasses'. Whether it's a look that will catch on? We don't really think so.

Our verdict: NOT

9. Retro Round Sunglasses
Okay, so these sunglasses aren't crazy-looking but it's crazy to see this famous face wear them. American hip hop artist Snoop Dogg wore these funky round sunglasses similar to John Lennon's infamous pair. The gold metal clip-on has a really cool design that would appeal to those who love vintage/retro eyewear or just prefers something different. Who knew this Dogg had style?

Our verdict: HOT

10. Chain Sunglasses
Miss. Amber Rose wears these Chanel chain sunglasses beautifully. Her strong unique look carries off these bold statement sunglasses effortlessly. Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Dev are other ladies that have been snapped wearing these. There's no question that this frame is a winner.

Our verdict: HOT
