We love our eyewear, is that any surprise? This past year has seen the unveiling of some of our favourite collections yet. With the Fall/Winter collections soon to be revealed by some our favourite brands and the summer season slowly coming to an end, we are counting down some of our favourite Eyewear Style Stars of over the years.
20. Miranda Kerr
The Australian model is best known for her Victoria Secret campaign and is the former wife of english actor Orlando bloom. Kerr is also a published writer with her self-help book Treasure Yourself. Career began when she was 13 years old. Kerr became a mom to her son Flynn with whom she co parents with former husband Orlando Bloom. Like mother like son, stylish little Flynn could have a career in fashion himself.

19. Michelle Dockery
The London born actress and singer is an alum of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. After graduating in 2004 she made her professional theatre debut in the stage production of His Dark Materials. She has gone on to star in a succession of theatre products for which she has earned several award nominations respectfully. Dockery is bet known for her role as Lady Mary Crawley in successful series Downton Abbey (2010- present).

18. Beyonce
Beyonce is a nothing less than a power house. The singer, actress and CEO of House of Deréon fashion collection is one of the hardest working women in the business. Her and husband rapper Jay-Z are currently their massive worldwide tour called On The Run which featured a promotional video that included several celebrity friends like Don Cheadle, Rashida Jones and Blake Lively. The promotional spot hinted at the excitement to come. "Queen Bea" used to be styled by her very fashionable mother but she has proven herself knowledgeable of possessing self styling know-how.

17. Lupita Nyong'o
It-girl Lupita Nyong'o hit it big this year after her brilliant performance in critically acclaimed film 12 Years a Slave. Lupita studied acting at the Yale School of Drama before later setting out to Hollywood to begin her career. She saw success early on in her move to America with 12 Years A Slave being only her first major feature role. We predict plenty of success ahead for Lupits as she truly is one to watch.

16. Carey Mulligan
Carey Mulligan demanded our attention by her brilliant performance in An Education for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress. The English born actress made her film debut as Kitty Bennet in Pride & Prejudice. She has had roles in several British television programmes such as Doctor Who, Bleak House, and Northanger Abbey. She has since continued to impress us with her impeccable acting range in: The Greatest, Never Let Me Go, Drive, Shame, The Great Gatsby, and Inside Llewyn Davis. In addition to staring in some of our favourite films, Mulligan continues to impress with her amazing sense of style.

15. Jessica Alba
Alba has been no stranger to both small and large screens since the age of 13 but the American actress earned herself leading lady status with the James Cameron series Dark Angel. Alba has since appeared in some of our favourite films including: Honey, Sin City, Fantastic Four and Into the Blue. Alba is set to appear in one of the most anticipated films this year, Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For.

14. Diane Kruger
Kruger the girl everyone fell in love with in Wicker Park is better known for her roles as Helen in Troy and Dr. Abigail Chase in National Treasure and Bridget von Hammersmark in Inglourious Basterds. The German actress and former model has topped Maxim's Hot 100 Women lists in addition our Best Dressed. You can catch her as Detective Sonya Cross in the FX television series The Bridge or strutting along the streets of LA, New York or London with her longtime boyfriend, actor Joshua Jackson.

13. Tom Hiddleston
Before becoming our favourite villian, Loki, in the mArvel Studios film Thor and The Avenger, the Westminster born actor was discovered while studying at Pembroke College at the University of Cambridge in a production of A Streetcar Named Desire. Hiddleston went on to study acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where he graduated in 2005. Hiddleston is as well put together as he is an actor.

12. Taylor Swift
The girl with the catchiest tunes Taylor Swift is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Swift moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the young age of 14 to pursue a career in Country music. Her moved proved to be one of the most fortunate decision the Swift family made when she was signed to the independent label Big Machine Records where she became the youngest songwriter hired by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house. Swift rose to stardom upon the release of her debut album in 2006 and has seen exponential success since. The talented artist has established herself as a style icon as well as powerhouse crooner in recent years.

This English film, tv and theatre actor quickly became a household name after starring as Sherlock Holmes in the 2012 series Sherlock. the young disney star is a far cry from her Hannah Montana days. After an already successful film, television and music career Cyrus focused her concentration on her fourth studio album Bangerz under her new music contract with RCA Records. 8. Ryan Gosling
The Canadian actor and musician began on a little show called the Mickey Mouse Club alongside famous alum Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, and JC Chavez (to name a few). He appeared in several international television series over the years but gained our attention and devoted fandom after appearing in The Notebook. Elba first caught the acting bug while while attending school in Canning Town, London but before making the commitment to his career he would begin his own DJ company with friends under the moniker Big Driis. Pharrell, who makes up one third of N.E.R.D, began his foray into music as a member of his school's band club in Virginia Beach, Virginia. 1. Steve McQueen
Steve McQueen, rightfully dubbed the King of Cool, embodied the style and enduring appeal of 1960's counter culture with his charismatic "anti-hero" persona. McQueen appeared in some of the most successful films of his time including: The Sand Pebbles, The Thomas Crown Affair, The Getaway and The Towering Inferno.
